Carl Ogrodnick

Carl Ogrodnick

Carl was first elected as Division 7 Councillor for County of Minburn No. 27 in October 2007 representing rural residents south of the Vegreville/Royal Park area. He has served as MD of Minburn Foundation Board Member November 2010. Carl is a former heavy equipment operator at the County of Minburn No. 27, a position he held for 23 years. This has enabled him to have a great perspective on the public works side, and now the legislative part of the County. Carl has a keen interest in keeping a healthy balance between our family farms and industry, which both provide economic activity that keeps our communities vibrant and growing. Carl runs a mixed family farm southwest of Vegreville consisting of grain and cattle.
Tara Kuzio

Tara Kuzio

I am proud to have served as an elected municipal councillor for the County of Minburn for the past 12 years. My husband and I farm near Ranfurly, where we raised our three children and built a life deeply rooted in family, agriculture, and community. Giving back to the communities I call home has always been important to me. I currently serve as Chair of the St. Joseph’s General Hospital Community Board and Chair of the Vegreville Attraction and Retention Committee. I am also honoured to serve on the MD of Minburn Foundation Board, where I value the opportunity to help create welcoming and supportive communities where seniors feel connected, respected, and truly at home. Family, food, and tradition are a big part of who I am. I am an avid gardener, canner, and baker, and I especially enjoy preparing traditional Ukrainian foods. My Baba taught me everything I know about cooking and preserving, and I feel fortunate to carry those cherished traditions forward with my own family. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and contribute to the communities that have given so much to my family over the years.
